We offer our clients the opportunity to bring in sustainable bee boxes, which have been proven to improve crop yields by up to 300%, to villages that have had a long tradition of bee keeping. \u00a0We have set up a program to for tourists to bring bee boxes made from sustainable forests that you will buy from a local vendor in Kondoa town. \u00a0Sustainable Beekeeping is non-extractive and promotes environmental conservation, for an intact environment.<\/p>\n<p>You will spend the afternoon in a small village learning about bees and experiencing village life. \u00a0In the evening you will harvest honey with a group of bee-keepers in the village who will collect the honey. \u00a0That evening you will sleep in a mud hut.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Historically, beekeepers in rural villages have used the bark from trees to make hives which leaves trees vulnerable to disease.
